These booklets are printed full colour digitally throughout and saddle stitched. choose your paper type for inside and cover. All saddle-stitched books must be created in multiples of 4 pages, counting each page as you would in a normal page numbered book. Thus, a single page folded in half becomes a 4-page “book” and so on. Saddle stitched means binding pages together using staples (known as stitches) along the spine.

Bleed and crop marks
Bleed is the area of your artwork that extends beyond the actual size of the finished document, you should add bleed to avoid strips of white paper showing on the edges of your print when printed. Please upload document as single pages (no double page spreads).
Add 6mm extra to all four sides, e.g. if your booklet is 210 x 297mm , then you would supply the artwork to us at 222 x 309mm. We then cut off the extra 6mm off all sides leaving you with a perfect printed product.
Crop marks, also known as trim marks, are lines printed in the corners of your artwork to show us where to trim the printing. Where an image or colour on the page needs to extend all the way to the edge of the paper, crop marks are essential.
